Provide advice on credit and bankruptcy matters
Send demand letters and negotiate with debtors.
Settle disputes
Prepare security agreements, UCC-1 Financing Statements, review letters of credit and lien waivers, and other documents required for credit and collection purposes.
Bankruptcy: prepare and file proof of claim forms; oppose objections to claims; defend against trustee proceedings for alleged preferential payments; serve on Unsecured Creditors' Committees.
Retain and supervise local trial counsel.
Payments received from customers are forwarded directly to our clients.  checks are not delayed in a trust account.
We do not bill clients for telephone, photocopying, or fax charges, unless unusual.
Other costs are reimbursed without a markup:  local trial counsel, UCC searches, computer-based research, etc.
